If you burn your own discs, then you always have to create a nice-looking custom label to go along with it. It just looks tacky to use a permanent marker to label your newly burned CD! They have been around for a long time and they pretty much create most of the labels you use when printing from Word.
Avery has a bunch of different labels you can buy, print, peel and stick right onto your disc. Make sure to select the Template only option otherwise it downloads an installer that tries to install crapware on your system. If you download only the template, it should be in DOC format.

Cacher Cacher I want specifically a template for the "back" of the jewel case with two spines so that whichever way I place the CD on my self, I can read the label. I don't mind using my paper cutter but I hate guestimating where I'm supposed to cut! Any other ideas out there?
Find an Existing Label Sheet Using Label Vendors
Flip one degrees to the other so one has the "spine" on the right side and the other has it on the left side place one on top of the other. Measure from one side of the combined piece to the other.

This is the total width including both spines. Use this measurement when you use the paper cutter. I'll give it a shot!
Sounds like you want an application, not just a template. Click the Office button in the top left corner of the Word window and click "New" in the drop-down menu. Click "Media Labels" in the right pane. A list with all label templates is displayed. Click the "I Accept" button at the right to accept the license agreement. Click the "Download" button in the bottom right corner of the New Document window.
How to Create CD Labels on a Mac
The template is downloaded and inserted into a new Word document. Click to edit the different text boxes. You can add a title and artist, insert a table of contents and edit the date on most CD label templates. Click the Office button in the top left corner of the Word window and click "Print" in the drop-down menu. The Print window pops up. Type the number of copies you want to print in the Number Of Copies box.
